ZenStone Realty Capital (ZenStone) is a San Francisco bay area based, vertically integrated private equity real estate firm bridging global investors and local opportunities. ZenStone focused on investing in retail real estate assets across the risk spectrum on behalf of ZenStone’s principals in partnership with investors.
ZenStone has built up a proven track record of producing attractive opportunistic returns in one of the most competitive real estate markets in the country in the past decade. ZenStone was founded by experienced professionals with a unique mix of private equity, cross-border investing, real estate investment and management who have consistently demonstrated success. With the expertise in deal sourcing, due diligence, property acquisition, property management, value-add strategy, financial planning and tax benefits, ZenStone has built up a strong full service package to maximize return and minimize risk for our investors, including corporations, family offices and high-net-worth individuals. Up to date, the portfolio includes 200,000+ square feet retail plazas and 1,000,000+ square feet lands, which will potentially add 200,000+ square feet space. Currently, ZenStone has approximately $100 million AUM and produces over 25% IRR to our investors.

Farris Wu, Principal & Co-Founder
Farris obtained a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.S. and M.S. from Harbin Institute of Technology. He has published 40+ academic papers and tech patents. Farris co-founded DecorMatters, the venture-backed tech-driven interior design platform modernizing the massive interior design and furniture shopping industry. Prior to DecorMatters, Farris co-founded ZenStone Venture Capital (ZenStone VC) and invested in 40+ tech startups. The entire portfolio has been valued more than $22 billion and raised more than $2 billion capital with 35%+ IRR. Farris was named to Top 20 Best Cross-Border Venture Capitalists by China Venture and Hurun Midas List in 2016. Prior to ZenStone VC, Farris co-founded Alpha Realty Capital (ARC) and ZenStone Realty Capital (ZenStone RC) to bridge overseas capital and local opportunity. Farris oversees capital market, asset management, deal sourcing, due diligence, deal terms and structures, and value add strategy.
Fay Yang, Principal & Co-Founder
Fay obtained a B.A. in Enterprise Management from University of San Francisco. Fay co-founded DecorMatters, the venture-backed tech-driven interior design platform modernizing the massive interior design and furniture shopping industry. Prior to DecorMatters, Fay co-founded ZenStone Venture Capital (ZenStone VC) and invested in 40+ tech startups. The entire portfolio has been valued more than $22 billion and raised more than $2 billion capital with 35%+ IRR. Prior to ZenStone VC, Fay co-founded Alpha Realty Capital (ARC) and ZenStone Realty Capital (ZenStone RC) to bridge overseas capital and local opportunity. She has executed over $50 million real estate transactions and leased out 200,000 square feet space with directly sourcing most of them across all property types in both core and opportunistic investments. Fay oversees deal sourcing, due diligence, deal terms, value-added projects, property management, and finance.
